Coach Serven enters his 6th year coaching at Edison, his 41st year overall. Coach Serven recently retired from teaching physical education classes at Costa Mesa High School. All three of his sons, Matt, Spencer, and Luke played basketball at Edison. His daughter Amy is currently a reading specialist in Mount Terrace, Washington. Coach Serven enjoys bike riding at the beach, playing golf and pickleball, watching his nephew Brian play for the Colorado Rockies, and attending and watching college football, basketball, and baseball games. His favorite quote is, “The hardest workers are the last to surrender.”
